This year, join me on one of the most sacred pilgrimage journeys in Hinduism called “The Chardham Yatra” encompassing four holy sites nestled in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. These four sites are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath!
While the traditional Chardham Yatra can be challenging and lengthy, our helicopter tour offers a luxurious and comfortable way to experience the spiritual essence of the four sacred sites in a short duration, making it an attractive option for travelers seeking convenience and efficiency, especially for those who may have time constraints or physical limitations!
Day by Day Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Dehradun, you will be escorted to the Hyatt Regency hotel. We recommend arriving by 3 PM, as our departure is scheduled for 5 AM the following morning. In the evening, before dinner, our tour team will hold a briefing and distribute duffel bags for essential items. Each person is permitted a maximum of 5 kg in their duffel bag.
Note: Excess baggage would not be allowed to be taken in the same chopper due to weight restrictions. Your international luggage will be held at the hotel in Dehradun.

Overnight in Dehradun.
We start early, leave at 5 am for the helipad. You will board a helicopter at Sahastradhara Helipad bound for Kharsali, the designated helipad for Yamunotri. Upon arrival at Kharsali Helipad, ground personnel will assist travelers, guiding them to the waiting lounge.
Once settled, you will commence a 6-kilometer trek to Yamunotri Dham, one can opt to use pony or palki transport instead of trekking. The approximate round-trip duration for Yamunotri Darshan is about 6 hours.
Following the spiritual journey, guests can indulge in a rejuvenating hot spring bath at Yamunotri Temple and offer prayers at the nearby Shani Temple & Yamuna Mata Temple. Afterward, travellers will return to their accommodations to rest and recharge, alleviating any fatigue from the day’s travel and trekking.

Overnight in Yamnotri.
We bid farewell to Yamunotri at 5 am, leaving for Harsil Helipad in Gangotri. Upon touching down, guests are warmly welcomed and escorted to their accommodations.
Once settled, guests savor a delicious breakfast before heading out to visit the Gangotri Temple. The round-trip duration for Gangotri Darshan is approximately 4 hours, with a road distance of about 25 kilometers, translating to a scenic 50-minute drive.
Later in the afternoon we return to our hotel In Harsil where you are treated to the breathtaking beauty of the region, renowned for its apple orchards and pristine natural trails. You can immerse yourself in the charm of Bagodi Village Walk, embark on a short trek to Choolmi Village, and pay homage at the Shiv Temple in Harshil.
Harsil is often called a mini-Switzerland, stands as one of Uttarakhand’s most picturesque valleys, offering a truly enchanting experience.

Overnight in Harsil.
Today we leave at 6:30 am to on a helicopter ride to Kedarnath, landing at one of the designated helipads: Sersi, Guptkashi, or Phata.
Upon arrival, you will indulge in a hearty breakfast before commencing your pilgrimage to Kedarnath Temple. The approximate duration of the temple visit is 2 hours, allowing ample time for darshan amidst the awe-inspiring surroundings.
After the spiritual experience, you return to your respective base camp (Sersi/Guptkashi/Phata) via shuttle, a short seven-minute journey and then check you’re your hotel accommodations to unwind and rejuvenate.
Nestled amidst breathtaking snow-capped peaks, Kedarnath stands as one of the most beautiful and remote sites among all the Chardham destinations, offering you a truly unforgettable experience.

Overnight in Guptkashi.
We depart at 7 am from the Kedarnath Helipad (Sersi/Phata/Guptkashi) via helicopter towards the Badrinath Helipad.
Upon touchdown, guests are treated to a nourishing breakfast before embarking on your visit to the Badrinath Temple, an experience lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Transport to the temple is facilitated by a car from the hotel.
Prior to temple entry, you will have the opportunity to purify yourself with a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, a sacred hot spring adjacent to the temple premises.
If operational, you may also explore Mana Village, hailed as the “Last village of India” due to its close proximity to the China border. Following their explorations, you return to the hotel to relish a sumptuous dinner and retire for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Overnight in Badrinath.
Today, we say Good Bye to everyone who will not be joining for the optional Navratri in Baroda event!
We leave Badrinath Hotel at 8 am for Dehradun.
Upon arrival in Dehradun, you will be escorted to the hotel to retrieve your belongings from the cloakrooms before being chauffeured to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
After the final transfer, we will bid farewell to the passengers.
